In January 2003, this registration was upgraded to comply with the current ISO 9001:2000 standard. In July 2004, Signal Solutions, Inc Certificate # 98-1164 was successfully re-certified for an additional three years. The external auditor noted zero non-conformities within Signal Solutions' Quality Management System. ISO 9001 is the most widely recognized international Quality Management System standard focused on business process assurance and continuous improvement. In July 2004, Signal Solutions further obtained registration to ISO 14001:1996 the international standard on Environmental Management Systems. This shows our commitment to protecting the environment and reducing pollution, which may be an output of our business activities. Also integrated within our business management system is a program of safeguarding our employees which is compliant to OHSAS 18001:1999. This international specification on Occupational Health & Safety helps us to manage potential hazards and risks in the workplace and reduce the likelihood of our employees suffering injuries.
